Established in 2008, Sami Al-Mughairy & Hossam Qanbar Advocates and Legal Consultancy ('A&Q') is a full service law firm in Muscat headed by the managing partners Sami Al-Mughairy and Hossam Qanbar. The firm is also comprised of a team of talented lawyers with a wealth of experience in various legal fields, and this allows the firm to cater to the needs of the public and private sectors.
A&Q provides a full range of legal services which include, but are not limited to, corporate and commercial matters, banking and finance, capital markets, tax, intellectual property, real estate and infrastructure, admiralty and shipping, labour and dispute resolution.
Sami Sulaiman Sultan Al-Mughairy
An experienced Omani Lawyer specialized in litigation. He is authorized to appear before the Supreme Court and has significant experience in drafting bilingual contracts and agreements.
In addition, he holds a Certificate in Commercial Arbitration from the Commercial Arbitration Centre of the Gulf Council Countries, and is a certified commercial arbitrator.
ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS & TRAINING
Bachelor of Law University of Sultan Qaboos - Sultanate Oman in 2005, He participated in numerous of professional courses in the field of intellectual property as well as in international commercial arbitration courses and other courses. Moreover, he is a practitioner of advocacy before the primary and appeal courts in the Sultanate of Oman since 2006.
Hossam Mohammed Said Qanbar
A lawyer and legal consultant, and is a managing partner in A&Q. He is specialized in litigation and is authorized to appear before the Primary and Appeal courts in the Sultanate of Oman and in Egypt.
He is also a certified arbitrator and holds a certificate in Commercial Arbitration from the Commercial Arbitration Centre of the Gulf Council Countries.
ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS & TRAINING
Bachelor of Law Tanta University - Egypt in 1992, He holds a Certificate of Commercial Arbitration of the Arbitration Council of the Gulf Cooperation Centre.
Practitioner of advocacy before the courts of Egypt since 1992, Practitioner of advocacy before the courts of Sultanate of Oman since 2002.
In 2008, he established a law partnership with Mr. Sami Al-Mughairy in Muscat known as Sami Al-Mughairy & Hossam Qanbar Advocates and Legal Consultancy ('A&Q').
